Printed Petal Kit - Intro Through Advanced Projects
This kit contains supplies for three tataki-zome projects, these three projects take you from beginning to advanced printing.
Intro Project, Notecards: Create four mini-prints and use them to decorate two notecards included in the kit. This is a great way to get familiar with the printing technique before moving on to bigger pieces. The two extra prints can be framed (frame not included) or used for other projects that you dream up (decorating notebooks or bookmarks is fun).
Intermediate Project, Backpack: This project gives you room to create a bigger designs, using a drawstring backpack as your canvas. In addition to your botanically printed backpack, the project will result in an extra print that is the exact mirror of the print on the backpack. This extra print can be used for other projects, such as sewing a wine bag or small pillow.
Advanaced Project, Silk Scarf: In this project you learn to print a larger piece of fabric by creating reflected designs on a silk scarf. In this project you also get a feel for working with a different type of fabric.
Supplies in this kit (all fabrics are pre-scoured):
four 3” x 4.5” muslin pieces
