This kit is an introduction to tataki-zome, it contains supplies to create six botanically printed notecards. Creating these small prints is a great way to get familiar with the printing technique before moving on to bigger pieces. After creating six notecards, you will have two extra prints that can be framed (frame not included) or used for other projects that you dream up (decorating notebooks or bookmarks is fun).

Supplies in this kit:

  • eight 3” x 4.5” muslin pieces, pre-scoured

  • six blank notecards

  • alum for mordanting

  • printed overview of tataki-zome

  • access to detailed instructions and student resources online
